Auntie Vice (aka Rebecca Blanton) is a writer/blogger, kink educator, and performer. Her work focuses on kink and BDSM from the submissive perspective, gender, and body liberation. They have been part of kink scene for more than three decades and identifies as a kinky, queer, service submissive.

Prior to working in kink education and writing, Auntie Vice worked as the head of a California state agency, was a policy researcher for the State of California, and has taught at John Jay and Baruch Colleges in NYC (part of the CUNY system). She holds a Ph.D. in Political Psychology and a BA in Psychology.

​

She applies an academic study approach to her kink work and writing. She began writing erotic fiction at 40 and how has 22 erotic fiction novels under various pseudonyms. Her story, “Day 730” is featured in Best Bondage Erotica 2020 published by Cleis Press. Their piece "Private Parking" appeared in the September 2019 Bust Magazine edition under One-Handed Reads.

Along with the Love Letters blog, Auntie Vice produces and hosts the podcast "Fat Chicks on Top" which focuses on conversations about how our bodies mediate our experience in the world. It is a platform for queer, kinky, disabled, and fat folks to share their stories and experiences. Guests have included: Midori, Sunny Megatron, Zachary Zane, Leah Vernon, Meg Elison, and Gretchen Felker-Martin among others.

They have published three nonfiction kink books: Love Letters to a Unicorn: A book about BDSM, kink, and non-monogamy; The Big Workbook for Submissives, and: Thirty Days of Kinky Self-Discovery.

​

They teach regularly with Wicked Grounds, Black Thorn, and several other major kink education groups based in the United States. They perform and teach in-person in northern California. A list of upcoming classes and events may be found at AuntieVice.com/events.
