This is one of three items I recieved from a new vendor, Tracy’s Dog. I tend to be highly skeptical about newer vendors and those without an established reputation in the sex ed community since knock-off toys and misrepresentations of body safe materials are rampant.
I was really happy to find that the items from Tracy’s Dog are of high quality overall and look forward to exploring more of that they have to offer.
The Unboxing
Tracy’s Dog ships in plain cardboard boxes for privacy. The items took about 10 days to ship, which is pretty standard right now through USPS.
The cat’s paw vibrator comes in a lovely, high-end black box with their logo on the top in gold script. The box included the vibrator, a charging cord, insturctions, a purple drawstring carrying bag, and several free stickers. Every time a toy comes with a bag to keep it together with its charger during storage I do a happy dance! This is a great perk when you have a closet full of toys! Overall, the presentation of the boxed item would make for a lovely gift.
The Specs
The site does not specify what materials this item is made of. It feels of a high-quality silicone, but I cannot confirm that.
The vibration wand has ten settings, the first three being constant with increasing levels of intensity. The other seven options offer patterned vibration. The cat’s paw end offers a shock when the paw pads are pressed (pressure activated). They offer five levels of shock from mild to quite, well, shocking!
The Review
I LOVE this toy! I have a variety of wands and I generally enjoy a good want vibrator. This one is on par with several of the various smaller, rechargable wands I have reviewed. The addition of the electrified cat’s paw elevates this toy to a whole new level!
I have mixed feelings about electic play. I enjoy the senations but I hate the crackle and pop sounds of many electic toys. This toy is silent when it shocks you, which makes it a great choice for folks like me. The capacity to alternate vibration sensations with shocks while playing with a partner offers loads of new play options!
I have a good friend who is into electric play and a sub like myself. I showed her the toy and she was tickled with delight! She know’s her husband will love this too.
Bottom Line
I love how this toy works and the combination of vibration and shocks. The toy feels great in your hand and on your body. The inability to confirm what materials are in this toy gives me a bit of a pause. Its a fun toy. If you opt for it, make sure to clean it well with warm, soapy water after every use.
