I was kind of hoping this product would be a poor performer just so I could write an entire review with tons of “sucking” puns. For better or worse, I actually likes this vibrator.

“Sucking” vibrators are a newish fad in sex toys for those of us with clits and vulvae. I first saw one advertised as a “clitoral vacuum” which brought visions of sad housewives trying to remove the dust from their own clits while imagining Joan Crawford yelling, “I’m not mad at you! I am mad at the dirt!”

I was intrigued by these new little machines. I enjoy heavy vibrations (a la wand vibrators) and admit my clit enjoys quite intense sensations. Little light flicks and buzzes I find annoying and irritating. So, the idea that a toy could do away with the tiny buzz or jackhammer vibrations for something new was exciting.

I received the Holyvo Clitoral Sucking Vibrator from Paloqueth and it was cute. It looks like a little eggplant with an attachment reminiscent the Philly Fanatics mouth. Its not sexy but it is cute.

It is small- like about 5″ in total length. This will be great for those of you with small and average sized hands for women. For my hands, which can palm a basketball, it was a bit too small. I found myself holding it with my pinky up which is too polite for jerking off in my opinion. Most of you won’t have this problem– just those of us with giant paws.

I tried it for the first time just because I had a deadline for getting out a review. To be honest, I have had no sex drive for the last month. A change in lupus medications has flat-lined my desires. But a girl must work to pay the bills….

I wasn’t expecting to get much out of the toy. It was small, quiet, and the last vibrator I got from Paloqueth was a massive disappointment. But for your edification I pushed onward! Turns out, the darn thing was pretty good. Not great, mind you, but a decent toy.

It took a minute to get it positioned right and a couple of minutes to get my clit aroused enough that the little “cup” could surround it, but I got there. It is mostly a low “buzzy” vibration that I felt in my vulva when I started using the toy. Only when my clit was really aroused did the “cup” surround it. That is when I realized there is a little tiny fan at the base of the cup that “flicks” the clit. And that worked for me.

The toy has multiple vibration/sucking modes. Like most toys, I find many of these modes unnecessary. However, if you like intermittent buzzing or pulsing when you use a vibrator, this toy has it. The constant mode in medium and high were the most pleasant for me to use.

The toy also is easy and fast to charge (less than an hour for full charge, cord included). The clear power button makes it easy to turn on and off. It is exceedingly quiet so those of you worried about alerting housemates need not worry with this toy.

It did not deliver on the promised “sucking” of my clit. When I think of sucking, I think of a toy that mimics some actually sucking- not just surrounding the clitoris. If you want true sucking I would go for a vacuum type toy. For a clit vibrator, however, this is decent.

Paloqueth in general has some work to do, however. Their site is limited to highly photoshoped images of traditionally “beautiful” western women and a few images of men with six pack abs and overly sharpened jaw lines. They default to light skinned models, mostly white and a few Asian (largely northern Asian countries). The description of toys is overly gendered to the point of being obnoxious. So they are basically like most sex toy sites out there.

Overall, I would give this particular vibrator a 4 of 5 stars.
