Kissing K-King Clitoral Sucker and Vibrator

Best Vibe: $90

I was so excited to get to test this toy. I love clit sucker toys in general. This one combines a clit sucker function and a vibrator function, promising to make it a fantastic toy for those who enjoy clit stimulation.

The Unboxing

This is a very sleek toy! It comes with a green shell cover and looks more like a fancy face scrubber or high end perfume bottle, so a big plus there.

It feels good in your hand. Its sized on the smaller side and is very comfortable to hold. It is just over 4 inches long and 2 inches wide (11 cm by 4 cm). The size is conducive to tucking it gently between labia lips and not feel like you have a giant toy wedged in there.

The sucker/vibrator part has what looks like a little tiny tongue. This gave me hope it would be closer to simulating oral sex than other clit suckers I have tried. So I hooked up the included magnetic charger and let it charge.

The Specs

The BestVibe site lists the material as silicone. This is definitely misleading. The outer shell and most of the toy is actually made of plastic. The area you press up against your clit may be silicone, but it doesn’t feel like most medical grade silicone which is preferred for sex toys. At best this is a thin sheet of food grade silicone over plastic and metal interior parts and a plastic shell.

The web description claims it has five “sucking” and ten “vibrating” mode options. In use, it is more like three different intensities of vibration and a five vibration patterns. I could not tell any difference in the sucking modes.

In Use

For all that this toy promises, it fails to deliver on any of it. The biggest issue is that the buttons to control both the sucking and vibration patterns are immediately under the part you place on your clit. This necessitates removing the toy from your clit every time you want to change a vibration or sucking pattern. This design flaw is hardly conducive to a decent masturbation session.

The vibration options are on a higher end frequency and the result is an annoying, buzzy-tickling sensation about as pleasant as sticking your tongue on a 9-volt battery. I found them so annoying after trying the various patterns for review purposes I just turned them off.

The suction is poor on this toy. I found it hard to get much suction feeling at all on any of the “five” various modes. As a clit sucker, especially a $90 one, this toy was a real let down.

The Company

BestVibe has several major issues. First the site remains very gendered (to a really annoying extent) and is pretty racist. More than 90 percent of all “flesh colored” toys are in white skin tones. The few black flesh tones are less flesh and more “we had this really dark dye laying around and decided to call it “Black, realistic.” All dildoes and vibrators are marketed as “female” toys and the descriptions have statements like, “This toy will simulate oral sex with your boyfriend.” I find it cringy at best.

The company also regularly claims toys are silicone when they are clearly a composite of materials or low grade silicone and not the body-safe medical grade silicone. That is definitely the case with this toy.
