NOT BODY SAFE
The design of this toy addresses my primary concern/issue with G-spot and clit sucking vibe combos: adjustable distance between the clit and G-Spot. I've reviewed Sohimi products before, so I gave it a go.
The Unboxing
Sohimi products ship from China so they are currently slowed by the jam at the ports. This item took just over three weeks to ship. It arrived in a non-descript white package. The toy is boxed inside a plain black box (pictured) with a plastic insert to hold the toy during shipping and display. Neither the box nor the plastic insert are recyclable in California, a drawback.
The Specs
The toy is covered in a silicone-feeling material. This item does not specify what materials the item contains. The combination of the lax regulations in sex toys made overseas and no disclosure of the materials, this means there may be undesirable materials included in the silicone mix covering this item.
To check if this was covered in body-safe silicone I performed the at-home flame test, a standard test to see if an item is made of body-safe silicone. Aftrer less than 2 seconds exposed a flame, this was the result.
The surface was charred and burnt, the surface cracked, and an intense chemical smell filled the house. While I cannot tell exactly which substances were added to the covering, the flame test makes it clear it is not body-safe silicone. The texture of the toy rules out ABS plastic, metal, or borosilicate glass. This means the toy IS NOT safe to insert into your body or use as a sex toy. The review was termianted at this point.
